PVP Program
The South Dakota Department of Agriculture and South Dakota Certified Enrolled Cattle™ (SDCEC) program received USDA Process Verified Program approval effective July 31st, 2007.
Our verified points are summarized as:
- Age Verification
- Source verification to South Dakota Premises
- Cattle are raised by South Dakota Beef Quality Assurance certified producers
- Cattle are finished on a minimum 50% corn ration for at least 100 days
- Cattle are not fed any restaurant, food processing, or animal wastes
